- No. The rug is hand-woven and the illustrations are painted on by hand, so the care is spot cleaning — lift stains with a damp cloth. A machine wash would damage the artwork. If the whole rug needs cleaning, it can be soaked.

I really love the design! The rug is wonderful and fits perfectly, also shipment and contact was fast and good. Unfortunately, the colure (off-whit) changed quite a lot (beige) after cleaning it the way which was recommended. Also some fibers loosened which I had to fix by hand.

Der Teppich ist wirklich schön. Leider sind die Illustrationen aber nur aufgedruckt und nicht eingewebt. Das finde ich für den Preis dann doch sehr schade. Hübsch ist er trotzdem. Mal sehn, wie gut er die erste Reinigung übersteht.
